Classic 8-day safari with 4 days dedicated to the boundless Serengeti and its Great Migration and two stops in the magical Ngorongoro Conservation Area with the spectacular Rift Valley and its “cradle of humanity”, the Olduvai Gorge; You will also have unexpected encounters with the Masai tribes and with those of Lake Eyasi and you will enjoy the spectacle of the amazing Tarangire.

Every day will therefore be a unique experience in which we look forward to accompany you! We will take care of you at all times of the day and check that the facilities you choose respect all your expectations. During the safari you will always have water, fresh drinks and snacks. All meals are included. Our guides will be happy to answer any of your curiosity and to satisfy, as far as possible, your every wish.

We staff will be available for any need from your arrival at the airport to your departure.

Day 1 - Transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport, reception, excursions in the area and overnight in Karatu

Arrival at the JRO airport where you will find our staff to welcome you; if there is time, we will accompany you on your visit to the city of Arusha. We will then move to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 - The tribes of Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe and Datoga - Lake Eyasi - overnight in Karatu

Breakfast at the lodge and moving to visit the tribes of Lake Eyasi: Datoga tribe and Hadzabe tribe. We will have the opportunity to go hunting in the savannah with the Hadzabe tribe and see the Datoga blacksmiths work the iron. Then we will visit Lake Eyasi and return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - Ngorongoro Crater and Olduvai Gorge - overnight in Serengeti Seronera

Upon awakening and well recharged we will reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a visit to the wonderful crater teeming with wildlife. We will then take a leap into the past by stopping at the Olduvai Gorge, an archaeological site where footprints of hominids dating back to 3.5 million years ago were found. In the late afternoon we will enter the boundless plains of the Serengeti until we reach the central part. In this area there are several kopjes, rocky outcrops very special, and a network of waterways and rivers (such as the river Seronera) that provide a perennial water reserve and that therefore makes this area excellent all year round for animal sightings. Overnight in the lodge.

  • moving Karatu-Ngorongoro Conservation Area 1 hour and 20 approx/ Moving Ngorongoro-Serengeti 1 hour approx (depends on where you choose to stay)

Day 4 - Serengeti and visit to the safehouse for girls in Mugumu

After breakfast we prepare for a day of transfer inside the Serengeti, always looking for exciting sightings of African fauna: the final destination will be a visit to the welcome house for the girls of the association that we support, Hope for Girls & Women. Overnight in the area.

Day 5 - Serengeti (great migration) - overnight in Serengeti

Wake up at dawn for one of the most exciting days of our safari: the search for the spectacle of the great migration! A unique event in the world, where thousands of zebras and wildebeest cross the Mara River in search of fresh pastures. We will be fascinated by the vision of thousands of animals grazing on endless plains and our gaze will always be vigilant in search of the great predators, ready to take advantage of the moment to go hunting. At the end of the day we will rest in a tended field, in contact with the sounds of the savannah.

Day 6 - Serengeti (great migration) - overnight in Seronera

The beginning of today will be similar to the previous one, we will always be looking for sightings of all kinds and the great migration. May luck be with us! Overnight in the Seronera area.

Day 7 - Serengeti Seronera and visit to the village Masai - arrival in Tarangire NP - overnight in Tarangire

In the morning we will depart early through the southern part of the Serengeti to head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way we will stop at a Masai village to meet this proud African people, linked to its tribal traditions but also attracted by modernity. Late afternoon transfer to Tarangire. Overnight at the lodge, in Tarangire.

Day 8 - Tarangire NP - airport transfer or departure by sea extension

For the last day the activities depend on the time of your flight, but we will try to dedicate the morning to the visit of the park of the Tarangire and then head to the international airport of the Kilimangiaro.
