Mainly cultural 10 days safari that will allow you to visit some parks in the north: the quiet Arusha, the imposing Tarangire, the romantic Manyara, enriching the already rich route with visits to the populations of Masai warriors, Hadzabe gatherers, Datoga blacksmiths, Barabaig farmers and Chagga farmers. There will also be a dip in the past with the beautiful cave paintings of Kondoa.

Every day will therefore be a unique experience in which we look forward to accompany you! We will take care of you at all times of the day and check that the facilities you choose respect all your expectations. During the safari you will always have water, fresh drinks and snacks. All meals are included. Our guides will be happy to answer any of your curiosity and to satisfy, as far as possible, your every wish.

We staff will be available for any need from your arrival at the airport to your departure.

Day 1 - Transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport, reception, excursions in the area and overnight in Arusha

Arrive at the JRO airport where you will find our staff to welcome you; we will move to the hotel in the city and after a well-deserved rest if you have time available we will accompany you in the visit to the city and the market of Arusha. We’ll go back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 2 - Oldonyo Sambu and Boma Masai - overnight in Arusha

We will move 35 km northwest of Arusha and visit (visits on horseback, even with donkeys and camels) the village Masai to learn about their life. Then we will return to Arusha for dinner.

Day 3 - Safari by car, on foot and by boat in Arusha National Park - overnight in Arusha

After breakfast at the hotel we will leave for the safari at the National Park of Arusha, the only park where we will have the opportunity to have a safari on foot accompanied by an armed ranger that will safely allow us to approach a few meters from the animals in freedom. After the picnic on the shores of a pond, we will go on a canoe safari, an experience that will allow us to look at what will surround you from another perspective in a fun way. Then we will return to Arusha for dinner.

Day 4 - Transfer to the Karatu region and visit to St. Catherine Monastery - Visit to school and activities- overnight in Karatu

Breakfast at the lodge and move to the monastery of Sant Catherine, where you can perform activities and visit the school. Overnight and dinner in the monastery.

Day 5 - Safari by car in Lake Manyara and bike tour to the village Mto Wa Mbu- overnight in Karatu

After breakfast we will move to the game drive to Lake Manyara, where we will be fascinated by an unusual landscape, characterized by the strong presence of water, element of encounter of mammals and birds. In the afternoon we will visit the nearby village of Mto Wa Mbu with a characteristic bike ride. Overnight in Karatu.

Day 6 - The tribes of Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe and Datoga - overnight in Karatu

Breakfast at the lodge and moving to visit the tribes of Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe tribe and Datoga tribe. We will have the opportunity to go hunting in the savannah with the Hadzabe tribe and see the Datoga blacksmiths work the iron. Then we will visit Lake Eyasi and return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 - Safari by car in Tarangire NP - overnight near Tarangire

In the morning we will leave to head to the park of Tarangire, paradise of elephants and baobab, where you can play the safari, surrounded by the giants of the savannah, baobab and elephants. Overnight in the area.

Day 8 - Cave paintings of Kondoa and Barabaig tribes - overnight near the Tarangire

Today’s morning will be dedicated to visiting the historic site of Kondoa, with its famous cave paintings while in the afternoon we will visit the Barabaig tribe. Overnight near the Tarangire.

Day 9 - Transfer to Moshi with excursion to the waterfalls and overnight at the Bed and Breakfast "More Than a Drop"

Transfer to Moshi, where we will visit, relax, perform activities and stay in the Bed and Breakfast school that we support: More Than A Drop.

Day 10 - Visit to Chagga tribes and coffee plantations - transfer to the airport for return or departure by sea extension

In the morning we will visit the characteristic coffee plantations at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and get to know the Chagga tribe. The duration of the activities depends on the time of your flight, but we will try to devote as much time as possible to activities in Moshi and then head to the Kilimanjaro International Airport.
