Classic safari 12 days that, at a fast pace, will allow you to visit all the famous parks of the north: from the small Arusha to the immense Serengeti, from the rich Tarangire to the unique Ngorongoro Conservation Area, from the lake Manyara to the lunar Natron,  enriching the already rich route with visits to the Masai, Hadzabe and Datoga tribes.

Every day will therefore be a unique experience in which we look forward to accompany you! We will take care of you at all times of the day and check that the facilities you choose respect all your expectations. During the safari you will always have water, fresh drinks and snacks. All meals are included. Our guides will be happy to answer any of your curiosity and to satisfy, as far as possible, your every wish.

We staff will be available for any need from your arrival at the airport to your departure.

Day 1 - Transfer from Kilimanjaro Airport, reception, excursions in the area and overnight in Arusha

Arrive at the JRO airport where you will find our staff to welcome you; we will move to the hotel in the city and after a well-deserved rest if you have time available we will accompany you in the visit to the city and the market of Arusha. We’ll go back to the hotel for dinner.

Day 2 - Safari by car, on foot and by boat in Arusha National Park - overnight in Arusha

After breakfast at the hotel we will leave for the safari at the National Park of Arusha, the only park where we will have the opportunity to have a safari on foot accompanied by an armed ranger that will safely allow us to approach a few meters from the animals. After the picnic on the shores of a pond, we will go on a canoe safari, an experience that will allow you to look at what surrounds us from another perspective, in a fun way. Then we will return to Arusha for dinner.

Day 3 - Safari in Lake Manyara - overnight in Karatu

After breakfast we will move to the game drive to Lake Manyara, where we will be fascinated by an unusual landscape, characterized by the strong presence of water, element of encounter of mammals and birds. Overnight in Karatu.

Day 4 - The tribes of Lake Eyasi: Hadzabe and Datoga - overnight in Karatu

Breakfast at the lodge and moving to visit the tribes of Lake Eyasi: Datoga tribe and Hadzabe tribe. We will have the opportunity to go hunting in the savannah with the Hadzabe tribe and see the Datoga blacksmiths work the iron. Then we will visit Lake Eyasi and return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 - Car Safari in Ngorongoro and visit to Masai Village - overnight on the way to the Serengeti

Upon awakening and well recharged we will reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a huge protected caldera that houses thousands of animals and where there is the highest probability of seeing the black rhinoceros, now almost extinct in the lands of Tanzania. After the safari by car, we will head to the village of the Masai, where we will discover their life and their traditions. Overnight on the Serengeti road.

  • recommended clothing and equipment: from safari but especially in the morning the temperatures can be rigid so it is recommended a down jacket and long pants, bandana and hat, amuchina.

Day 6 - Safari by car in the Serengeti Seronera - overnight in Seronera

When we wake up we will continue our journey through the dirt roads of the Serengeti, not forgetting to take a leap into the past stopping at the Olduvai Gorge, archaeological site where were found footprints of hominids dating back to 3.5 million years ago, then continue and enter the plains of the park until you reach the central area. In this area there are several kopjes, rocky outcrops very special, and a network of waterways and rivers (such as the river Seronera) that provide a perennial water reserve and that therefore makes this area excellent all year round for animal sightings. Overnight in the area.

Day 7 - Safari by car in the Serengeti Seronera - overnight in the Serengeti North

When we wake up we will continue our journey through the dirt roads of the Serengeti, entering more and more into the plains of the central area of the park, looking for close encounters with the fauna always rich near the streams and pools of water. We will then witness the fiery sunset over the savannah, before the well-deserved dinner and rest at the tent camp or lodge.

Day 8 - Serengeti (Great Migration) Car Safari - Visit to the association we support in Mugumu - Overnight in the Mara

After breakfast we prepare for one of the most tiring but exciting days: the search for the spectacle of the great migration! A unique show in the world, where thousands of zebras and wildebeest cross the Mara River in search of fresh pastures. We will be fascinated by the vision of so many animals grazing on endless plains and our gaze will always be vigilant in search of the great predators, ready to take advantage of the moment to go hunting. We will then head to Mugumu to visit the home of the girls of the association that we support, Hope for Girls & Women. Overnight in the area.

Day 9 - Serengeti (Great Migration) Car Safari - overnight in Lake Natron

Today’s morning will be similar to the previous one, we will always be looking for sightings of all kinds and the great migration. Luck be with us! Then we will start the journey towards Lake Natron: it will be a very long route, on dirt roads, but halfway a breathtaking view will make you forget the previous effort.

Day 10 - Hiking at Lake Natron (lake, footprints, waterfall) - overnight in Karatu

After breakfast, early in the morning, we will take a walk together with a Masai guide on the shores of Lake Natron, the only flamingo breeding area. We will be enchanted by the colors of the waters of the lake, tending to pink, and by the lunar landscape that surrounds us: our gaze can only be immediately captured by the majesty of the mountain of God, Ol Doinyo Lengai, who will rise before us (for info trekking ask in contacts). Moving a bit away from the lake, if you want, we will go to see well-preserved footprints left in the mud between 5,000 and 19,000 years ago by Homo sapiens (extra 20$ pp). In the afternoon, after lunch, we will enter a rocky gorge, dug by the river Engare Sero, to reach a natural waterfall where you can swim. When we return, we will go to Karatu for the night.

Day 11 - Safari by car in Tarangire NP and transfer to Moshi - overnight in Moshi

In the morning we will leave to head to the park of Tarangire, paradise of elephants and baobabs, where you can play the safari, surrounded by the giants of the savannah. In the afternoon transfer to Moshi for dinner and overnight in the school Bed and Breakfast that we support: More Than A Drop.

Day 12 - Transfer to the airport or departure by sea extension

On the last day activities depend on your flight schedule, but we will try to devote as much time as possible to activities in Moshi and then head to the Kilimanjaro International Airport.
